Babies Card

Hey everyone!

Here is my entry for this weeks Paper Cutz Challenge!

Challenge: Make a card, LO or craft project using 3 patterned papers, and any colour or theme.

This card isn't for anyone specific yet but I think it could be used for a birthday, graduation, baby shower, etc. My husband thinks it's really cute :) (can you tell that makes me happy? :P) Anyway, I love vellum paper and I really wanted to use it today so I hope you can see the layers. It always looks better in person.

Happy Spring Card

Hey everyone!

This is my entry for the next Cricut Cardz Challenge.

Challenge: Make a card for Spring using only the colours pink, green and white and use any cartridges.

So I decided to make a spring card for my parents since we're going to their place for Easter :)

Hang in There Card

Hey everyone!

I recently had a friend who came down with mono. I had mono in high school so I know how brutal it can be, but she has 4 kids ranging for 1-13 years of age. I can't imagine having mono with 4 kids! She's definitely a trooper. So I made her a card to let her know I was rooting for her!

Happy Spring Card for Grandpa

Hey Everyone!

This is my first challenge with Paper Cutz Challenge. I figured it was simple enough that I could do it on a busy night like tonight!

Challenge: Use any colours and any theme you'd like

Easy peasy no? We'll I made a Happy Spring (wishful thinking huh? PS for everyone not in central Ontario we had warm weather for a week which melted all the snow and then last night we got half a foot! Had to break out my winter boots again!) card for my Grandpa :) His sight isn't so good anymore so I thought I would keep it simple. And his favourite colours are yellow and orange.

Happy 36th Anniversary to the In-Laws!

Hey everyone!

I figured I would share another card with you that I made recently. At the beginning of March my hubby's parents had their 36th wedding anniversary! Things like this make me happy. Every other day another couple I know is getting divorced. It gives me hope for the rest of the world when I see people like Richard and Evelyn :)

The ribbon is actually kind of a funny story. I like to shop at H&M but every shirt I get there has a ribbon in it so you can hang it on a hanger and not stretch out your shirt, but I don't hang my t-shirts. Like the casual cotton ones? So I cut the ribbon out of all of them and they're all different colours! So the ribbon is from that :P

Shopping!

Hey everyone!

So I went to Micheal's today and they have this huge 40% off sale on like, all their Recollections products. I was so excited! I got some stickers, some embellishments, some pop dots, some adhesive runners and some assorted cardstock all by Recollections (all on sale! :P) and I also got a Fiskars paper crimper, a cute rubber stamp that says "let's get together (soon)," some metallic Gelly Roll pens, some really cute paper and a couple rolls of ribbon. I was very happy with this shopping trip, I got everything on my list and then some and I was shy of my spending limit by 25%! As a treat my hubby took me out for ice cream after. What a good day :)

Hey everyone!

So this is my first Cricut Cardz Challenge entry I've ever done but I'm hoping it will be the first of many.

Challenge: Make a tall card (9"x 4") using any cartridges, theme or colours you'd like

I decided I would make a mother's day card for this challenge, tho I know it's a little early.

I officially launch this blog!

Of course it's not even CLOSE to being finished but I really wanted to enter this weeks contest at cricutcardzchallenge.blogspot.com which ends tonight. Wish me luck! I'll post my entry in a separate post.

Well, I'm dedicating this blog to my crafting. I'm no pro but I love to make and create things.

I hope you enjoy!
